Juventus Scouting Director Giorgio Chiellini has firmly dismissed any speculation linking the club with Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, amid growing rumours of interest from several European teams during this summer transfer window.

Osimhen’s recent loan spell at Galatasaray has come to an end, following which the 26-year-old is deliberating on his next move. Last summer, the forward joined the Turkish club on a 12-month loan from Serie A giants Napoli, and with his future uncertain, attention has turned to potential suitors, including Juventus.

Addressing the media on Thursday, Chiellini stated, “Victor Osimhen transfer? We’ve nothing to do with Osimhen. You have to fill the pages and report the news. We read a lot of things that make us laugh. You keep talking, we keep working.”

Currently, Juventus boasts a talented attacking line including Dušan Vlahović and Randal Kolo Muani. Additionally, the club is reportedly on the brink of securing a deal for former Lille striker Jonathan David, further implying that their focus lies elsewhere.

As the summer transfer window progresses, it remains to be seen where Osimhen will end up as the football world eagerly watches for updates on his future.
