The governor who spoke on behalf of President Bola Tinubu after his endorsement by the Cross River State people of the South senatorial district, averred that the administration has made significant strides in various sectors, laying a solid economic foundation and increasing the state‘s GDP.

While praising the state‘s security agencies for the tremendous improvement in security, Otu stated that the state has recorded the disbandment of over 16 militant camps, and the success of the state‘s amnesty programme has improved security, with only one camp remaining.

On tourism development, Otu averred that the upcoming December carnival will mark a grand 20-year celebration, attracting visitors from around the world to celebrate with the state.
