“Aside the scholarships he offers to promising youths, Hon Abubakar Kabir Bichi employed hundreds of temporary teachers, provided teaching and learning materials to students, provided tables, chairs and text books to several basic and post basic schools; and built a considerable number of structures to enable teaching and learning across Bichi federal constituency.
“Hon Abubakar Kabir Bichi also brought succor to thousands of Bichi youths as he pays for their Examination Council (NECO), West African Examination Council (WAEC) registration fees year in, year out.
“So far, thousands of Bichi indigenes are studying in various universities across the country. Last year, he sponsored a total of 21 Bichi indigenes to study various degrees in engineering and information technology in a Malaysian University.
Kwankwaso added that in a special gesture Bichi facilitated interventions to several higher institutions of learning within and outside his constituency with a view to improving the quality of education in Nigeria.
