Across Africa’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, one name continues to stand out for his unique blend of strategy, technical expertise, and purpose-driven impact – Olorunleke Olorunshola.

As a certified Power Platform developer and enterprise solution architect, he is helping organizations large and small unlock new levels of efficiency, intelligence, and scalability through Microsoft low-code tools.

Crest Africa, a premier platform that spotlights visionaries, leaders and innovators in Africa, spotlighted Olorunshola’s work in driving enterprise-wide transformation through solutions built on Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. While the platform recently named him among its Top 50 Voices in African Tech, it is his long-standing dedication to building usable, sustainable systems that continues to set him apart.

“My mission has always been to build with purpose,” he said. “It’s not just about delivering apps, it’s about creating systems that solve real business problems and empower people to innovate on their own.”

Olorunshola’s body of work spans more than 25 enterprise-grade solutions across the finance, construction, government, and freelance sectors. These include onboarding automations, strategic reporting dashboards, compliance tracking tools, and full-service case management systems, all designed to replace manual, repetitive tasks with streamlined digital workflows.

One of his recent standout projects is a Health and Environment Impact Assessment system deployed for a local government. The solution integrates with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Dataverse, allowing departments to manage impact requests in real time while improving compliance and communication across teams. It exemplifies his broader approach: deliver high-impact results without unnecessary complexity.

Beyond the technology, what defines Olorunshola’s work is his dedication to mentorship and knowledge transfer. He has trained hundreds of professionals, many of whom were new to low-code tools. His internal workshops and community training programs have become catalysts for broader adoption and deeper confidence within organizations.

“Technology becomes powerful when people feel confident using it,” he said. “That’s why I always build with users in mind. If a system isn’t intuitive, it won’t be used, and if it’s not used, it’s wasted potential.”

As part of his leadership in digital governance, he also helps organizations establish Centers of Excellence that define best practices for scale, security, and lifecycle management. These governance frameworks are critical to ensuring that digital transformation is not just a one-off project but a sustainable, evolving capability.

Olorunshola sees the next phase of African digital growth as one that includes everyone, from IT professionals to HR officers, compliance teams to small business owners.

“We don’t need to wait for perfect conditions or massive budgets to innovate,” he added. “We need curiosity, the right tools, and the courage to solve problems that matter.”

With his sharp vision and steady hands, Olorunleke Olorunshola is helping to build an Africa where technology serves people, and not the other way around.
