A new magazine chronicling the activities of key figures in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has been unveiled in Abuja.
Nigeria First Vanguards Magazine seeks to document, celebrate, and critically examine major public-sector players’ economic development initiatives and achievements, particularly federal ministries, legislators, and security agencies.
At the launch event on Monday, the publisher, Mr Iberedem Eshiet, CEO of Nigeria First Vanguards Ltd, introduced the debut edition, Hope Sentinels: Exploring the Intersection of Governance, Legislators and Security.
He stated that the magazine aims to present accomplishments and areas requiring improvement within the Tinubu administration.
“This publication is a record of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s performance over the past two years—his achievements and where adjustments are needed. We have detailed what each ministry, security agency, and legislative chamber—the Senate and House of Representatives—has contributed, including the President himself,” Eshiet said.
He emphasised that the platform was developed to celebrate progress, prompt reflection, and national awareness.
“Today is not merely about launching a magazine; it is a moment for reflection and renewed commitment to national development. Under the banner of Hope Sentinels, we recognise the strides made under the Renewed Hope agenda.”
Eshiet remarked that the magazine aims to elevate underreported stories of impactful governance and transformative change. “We believe that narratives shape nations. This publication is a commitment to nation-building through credible reportage, factual storytelling, and patriotic engagement with institutions.”
The magazine explores economic blueprints championed by ministries, legislative reforms and constituency engagement by lawmakers, and the stabilising efforts of security agencies. It reflects the country’s challenges and highlights its progress and potential.
Speaking at the event, the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande—represented by an aide—praised the magazine’s focus on governance, legislation, and security, describing them as central to the lives of young Nigerians.
“It is encouraging to see this edition reflect on the synergy between executive and legislative arms, institutional reforms, and national security milestones under the Renewed Hope Administration. It also showcases the economic initiatives and impact of our Ministry,” he noted.
