Arewa Youth Group Endorses Atiku

The Arewa Youth Progressives Alliance (AYPA) yesterday said it has, on behalf of all the northern youths alliance across the 19 states in the region, thrown its weight behind the presidential candidature of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Addressing a press conference in Kaduna, the secretary general of the group, Hamza Bala Lawal said the group has watched with delight the recent interactive session organized with some presidential candidates by the northern leaders and has come to the conclusion that Alhaji Atiku stands out among all the other presidential candidates.

“As you are aware, the enormous tasks ahead and the state of affairs in the country call for greater concern from all. Our economy is in disarray, the level of insecurity across the country is the worst in our history, our educational sector has collapsed, there is no doubt, the nation is in crisis and at a crossroad at the moment.

“The last seven years has brought down the north to it’s kneel with all forms of negative tendencies.After listening to all the candidates and their presentation during the interractive session our group the concluded the Atiku Abubakar’s presidential is outstanding hence the.endorsement.
