Kwara State governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has admonished politicians to play the game by the rules in their quest for power ahead of the 2023 general election, saying, “Nigeria must not fail.”
The governor urged Nigerians to shun violence and take the issue of security as everybody’s business to ensure a safe and secured nation for all.
AbdulRazaq spoke at the 28th convocation ceremony of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin where 7, 781 students graduated with 102 bagging distinctions.
“Fellow citizens, Nigeria must not fail. As we head to another general election, we have a duty to play by the rules, shun violence of any kind, and discuss issues that will deepen good governance. Security is the business of all of us. I urge us to play our roles,” the governor said.
Represented by his deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi, the governor said his administration was daily breaking new grounds in education and other sectors which according to him, was evident in the improved infrastructural development in the institution.
He admonished the graduates to make the best use of the education they acquired in the polytechnic to make their lives better and contribute to national development.
