At the meeting held at the Conference Hall of the Federal Secretariat in Bauchi, with the theme “Pathway to National Cohesion and Unity, Curbing Banditry in the State,” Governor Bala Mohammed lauded the NOA initiative and the participating stakeholders.

Represented by the commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Usman Shehu Usman, the governor reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting efforts aimed at curbing criminality, promising continuous provision of logistics and community enlightenment programmes.

The governor further urged communities to remain vigilant, promptly report any breaches of law and order, and share vital information with security agencies to enhance early intervention and crime prevention.

The meeting brought together a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including representatives of the Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Immigration Service, Nigeria Correctional Service, community-based organizations, traditional institutions, and youth groups.
