Designers have always been careful when it comes to this choice of fabric. They’d mostly rather use it as a supportive adornment on another fabric than the main one. But here’s Chrispe in this first piece, boldly combining net on net, one that highlights the team’s artistry and excellence.
The high-necked top is a full body hug with long sleeves, highlighting the upper shape attractively. And the vivid mix of wine, purple and cream colours makes the outfit eye-catching. Meanwhile, the skirt is crafted with a lovely, flower-patterned and angelic white soft net. The flower prints on this naturally draping skirt fabric make it unique and queen-befitting. It reeks of the female energy. Its floor length feature is not only elegant, but also highlights women’s angelic nature and the grace they carry. It is pleated from the waistline, causing it to effortlessly drape down in folds like a curtain blind. The net lace fabric dominates the tight-fitted long-sleeved arms of this awe-inspiring dress. At the back view, a small wine plastic invisible zipper. Its function in this piece is eminent, and the brand’s ability to take cognisance of the colour, ensuring they match, is worthy of accolades. The topmost part of the dress is neatly folded around the upper chest towards the back, forming a layer that adds a sense of style to the garment. This fitted dress is packed with darts that ensure the shape of the wearer is highlighted. This demonstrates the brand’s professionalism and meticulous attention to detail. Attached to the torso are three layers of neatly pleated silk material. Each layer has its unique cut, offering differing shades of style to the overall design. At this point, Chrispe’s creativity is undeniable.
With the layers at the lower part of the dress extending to the back view of this carefully crafted piece, it equally reflects the beauty and elegance that the front view encapsulates. An invisible zipper is also used as a finishing touch to this piece. This dress is gorgeous, no doubt; however, we could not help but notice a little bit of detail that the brand’s design team missed. In the upper area, back view, it is obvious that the folded or overlapped fabric was not well aligned before stitching. The zipper made it quite glaring that the fold is not equal. This means that the team has more work to do on their attention to detail and finishing. Yes, the design is inspiring. The creativity is top-notch. But the finishing? The team also has to bring its A game in that aspect. Because that’s what makes a professional.
A pair of silver-heeled slippers will do justice to this attire on a red carpet for that glamorous event you have marked on your calendar.
