The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the commencement of a review process for the 2025 Hajj and Umrah operations. The initiative aims to gather complaints and suggestions from pilgrims who participated in or intend to participate in recent pilgrimage activities.
In a press statement, the Commission emphasised its mandate to regulate and oversee organisations involved in the movement of pilgrims. NAHCON invites individuals with grievances or comments regarding services provided during the 2025 pilgrimage to submit feedback. This input is crucial for enhancing the quality of services offered in future Hajj and Umrah operations, particularly for the upcoming 2026 activities.
NAHCON has indicated that the feedback will inform decisions regarding the renewal of licenses for various service providers, including tour operators, airlines, caterers, and accommodation services. The Commission is also keen to receive suggestions from stakeholders and the public on improving the overall pilgrimage experience in Nigeria.
The statement added that Pilgrims wishing to contribute their thoughts should submit their complaints, comments, or suggestions along with their full address to the Chairman/CEO, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON)
This open invitation underscores NAHCON’s commitment to enhancing the pilgrimage experience and its role in effective regulation and supervision within the sector.
