Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has tasked members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to work hard and in unity for victory of the APC in the August 16 Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Basawa and Sabo Gari state Assembly by-elections.
Governor Sani stated this during the inauguration of the APC Campaign Committee for the elections held in Kaduna.
Speaking through his deputy, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, the governor said the APC campaign committee chaired by the speaker of the state House of Assembly, Yusuf Dahiru Liman alongside party leaders, elected officials, technocrats, and grassroots mobilisers across the state would deliver the party.
He charged the committee to work with discipline, focus, and unity to secure a clean sweep across all three constituencies, saying great moments require great minds, and what lies ahead on August 16 demands total commitment and strategic action.
Sani emphasised that the campaign must focus on the achievements of his administration, adding, “Win the trust of the people along with their votes. You carry the flag of a party with honour and legacy – uphold it with integrity.Victory is not optional; it is imperative. Let us write a new chapter of dominance, service, and progress for the APC in Kaduna State.”
In his remarks, Chairman APC Kaduna State chapter, retired Air Commodore Emmanuel Jekada, stressed that the members were carefully selected based on their track records and admonished them to stay focused to ensure victory for the Party.
