Governor Uba Sani Bags Double International Awards

The Mayor of the City of Brampton, Canada, Patrick Brown, has honoured Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, with the Corporation of the City of Brampton Certificate of Recognition at the Afro Commerce Connect & Flavours of Nigeria Festival. The award was presented in recognition of Governor Sani’s developmental strides and efforts to improve security in Kaduna State.

Governor Sani was represented at the event by renowned Nollywood actor and producer, Uzee Usman. The festival, held in Brampton, celebrated Nigerian culture, traditions, and contributions to Canada’s multicultural society.

At the ceremony, Mayor Brown said events like the festival strengthen the city’s diversity while promoting greater cultural understanding and unity. “On behalf of the Members of City Council, it is my pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you during your visit to Brampton for this weekend’s Afro Commerce Connect & Flavours of Nigeria Festival. Your presence adds to the vibrancy and spirit of our community as we come together to celebrate Nigerian culture, traditions, and contributions,” he said.

Reacting to the recognition, Uzee Usman thanked the Mayor and all those who made the honour possible, noting that the award underscores Governor Sani’s commitment to security and development in Kaduna State.

In a related development, Governor Sani was also honoured at the Headlamp Awards in Canada, where he received the Outstanding Leadership and Development Award. The award recognises individuals who have made a significant social impact and contributed to the advancement of their communities.
