Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT) has reaffirmed its commitment to community social welfare, education and moral values.

At a book launch on Wednesday in Abuja, NASFAT president, Alhaji Ayodeji Abdulwahid Abdulrauf, said the group founded by some young Muslim professionals seeking spiritual connection and community building, had grown into a global faith-based entity with a significant presence in Nigeria and beyond.

He said NASFAT’s initiatives had empowered communities, promoted education, social welfare, and moral values.

The organisation’s focus on spiritual growth has helped members to deepen their faith and connection with their communities, he said.

Abdulrauf described the book as a “written reflection of our journey” and a valuable resource for understanding the organisation’s past while inspiring future generations.

“The book is a gift for posterity,” Abdulrauf said.

“It tells our story with candour and clarity, showing how faith and dedication can redefine Islamic propagation in Nigeria and beyond.”

He expressed gratitude to His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto and president general of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, for writing the foreword to the book, and urged Muslims to uphold the ideals of NASFAT’s founding fathers while embracing innovation, da’awah, and nation-building.

As part of the anniversary activities, NASFAT appealed to all its members and well-meaning Nigerians to contribute generously towards the completion of the NASFAT Centre — an ongoing multi-billion-naira project designed to serve as a hub for religious, educational, and humanitarian services.

In his remarks, the Sultan of Sokoto commended NASFAT for its remarkable achievements over the past three decades. NASFAT also called on other faith-based organisations to take a greater role in providing social services without infringing on others’ beliefs.
