Oyo By-election: APC Candidate Loses Polling Unit To PDP

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Saturday’s by-election for Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Adewale Haastrup Olatunji has lost his polling unit to his counterpart from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Fola Sunday Oyekunle.

Olatunji voted at Unit 27 in Ward 10 Saturday morning.

According to the results announced at the end of voting on Saturday a few hours later, the APC candidate scored 6 votes, while the PDP candidate scored 9 with the Labour Party’s candidate polling 2 votes.

A total of 248 voters were registered at the polling unit, but only 17 cast their votes on Saturday.
