Benue State government has condoled with the family of the senior special assistant to the governor on Public Relations and Politics, Mary Yisa, over her death.
A statement by the secretary to the state government (SSG), Serumun Aber, described Yisa as a dedicated public servant, a committed patriot, and a woman of rare courage who served the state with diligence, humility, and a sincere heart for humanity.
The SSG said, “On behalf of the government and good people of Benue State, I extend our deepest condolences to the family of Mary, senior special assistant to the governor of Benue State, whose demise has left us in deep sorrow.
“Yisa was a dedicated public servant, a committed patriot, and a woman of rare courage who served our state with diligence, humility, and a heart for humanity. Her contribution to governance and development in Benue State will be remembered with gratitude.
“Your sudden departure is a painful loss not only to your immediate family, but also to the entire Benue State government and the people whose lives you touch in remarkable ways.
“As we mourn this irreparable loss, we draw comfort from the fact that she lived a life of impact, service, and devotion to the common good.
“We pray that God in His infinite mercy will comfort your family, colleagues, and loved ones, and grant her soul eternal rest,” the SSG said.
