The Amanyanabo of Elem Kalabari, Dabaye Amakiri I, Alhaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo, on Sunday, August 17, 2025, gave out his daughter, Miss Rukayat Becky Omoro, in marriage to Abdurrazaq Tamunodiepriye Cline.

Addressing his daughter at a traditional ceremony, the monarch urged her to be “totally submissive” to her husband, stressing that patience, humility, and respect are the true pillars of marriage. He also charged her to honour her husband’s family and anchor her union on the guidance of the holy Qur’an.

According to NigerDelta Insider, the ceremony, held at the royal villa in Degema, Rivers State, blended Kalabari traditional rites with Islamic Nikkah and was graced by dignitaries, cultural troupes, and well-wishers from across the Niger Delta region.
