BREAKING: Fate Of Passengers Unknown As Abuja-Kaduna Train Derails

A Kaduna-bound passenger train has derailed on Tuesday morning, leaving several passengers stranded and causing chaos on the route.

The incident occurred along the popular Abuja-Kaduna corridor shortly after the train departed Abuja around 11am en route Kaduna.

One passenger, who posted the information on social media, described the scene as chaotic, with people scrambling to safety in fear and confusion.

While the Nigeria Railways Corporation (NRC) was yet to confirm the incident, it remained unclear what caused the derailment even as the fate of the passengers was unknown as press time.

Meanwhile, security personnel have been deployed to the site to assist in evacuating stranded passengers and ensure no security breach at the scene of the accident.
