The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dismissed the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as nothing more than a gathering of failed politicians, seeking relevance after losing out in their former parties.
The Katsina State PDP spokesperson, Lawal Kurfi, who said this in an interview with LEADERSHIP Friday described the ADC as “a group of contestants who have lost political value.

“This ADC is not a political party with real structure. It is just a group of politicians who left their parties after losing elections or appointments. Ninety percent of them were either ministers, governors, or appointees before. When they lost out, they moved to ADC, hoping to find a way back,” Kurfi said.

He noted that defections are common as elections approach but maintained that the PDP remains stronger at both state and national levels.

“From the grassroots to the top, PDP is intact. Those in ADC are only political followers with no real base. They left because they lost value in their original parties,” he added.

Lawal also criticized what he described as ADC leaders’ “insults on respected northern elders,” saying such conduct further weakens the group’s credibility.
