The nominees await official designation of their respective portfolios by the governor.

The commissioner-nominees are Dr. Moses Chinonye Love and Barr Paul Obinatu, both from the Oru-East local government area of the state.

The Assembly, through the Speaker, Hon. Olemgbe, unanimously confirmed the successful completion of the process.

Speaking, the majority leader of the House, Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi, representing Owerri West constituency, commended the smooth conduct of the legislative business and expressed satisfaction with the outcome.

The lawmaker called on the commissioner-nominees to remain dedicated and focused in their service, effectively connecting with the vision, mission, and leadership of Uzodimma’s Shared Prosperity Administration, which he described as purposeful and result-oriented.

He pledged the Assembly’s commitment to continue providing quality legislative support to ensure effective governance and sustainable development.

However, Dr. Chinonye was present during the screening exercise,  while Barr. Obinatu was screened virtually through online video.
