The Association of Resident Doctors under Edo State Government Employment (ARD EDGE) has lauded the state government for the recent payment of the 2024 Medical Residency Training Funds (MRTF) to the beneficiaries.
According to the association’s president, Peter Evbuomwan, the funds were disbursed on August 29 to the delight of the state resident doctors.
ARD said this timely intervention demonstrated the government’s commitment to supporting medical training and capacity development within the state.
“We also appreciate the prompt commencement of renovation works at the doctors’ quarters in Ezoti.
“This initiative is a welcome development and a significant boost to the living and working conditions of doctors, reflecting a genuine step toward improving the welfare of healthcare professionals in Edo State,” the doctors said.
