Speaking during the exercise yesterday in Zaria, the MWAN president Kaduna branch, Dr Aisha Mustapha, said the outreach was organised to mark the 24th national conference and scientific meeting of the association.

She explained that the programme covered a wide range of services, including minor surgery, cervical screening, radiology, dental care, eye treatment, and the donation of corrective glasses for patients with presbyopia.
“We anticipate seeing, diagnosing and treating a minimum of 1,000 people. The association enjoyed immense support from the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli”.
“Most of us schooled in this community and it is time to give back as part of our social responsibility. That is why we decided that this 24th biennium medical outreach should hold right here in the palace”.

In his remarks, the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, commended MWAN and its partners for bringing healthcare services closer to his people.
