He stated this while inaugurating several newly completed projects at the 401 Special Forces Brigade, Joe Akaahan Cantonment, Makurdi, Benue State on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

A statement by the Director, Army Public Relations, Lt-Col. Appolonia Anele, said the projects were aimed to upgrade infrastructure within the military facility.

Lt-Gen Oluyede emphasised that the newly completed projects would significantly enhance operational efficiency, boost morale and improve the overall quality of life within the cantonment.

The statement listed some of the commissioned projects to include the remodelled Joint Officers’ Mess, Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess and the Jumpers’ Club. Other facilities included the newly constructed Regimental Sergeant Major’s Residence and Transit Accommodation for personnel.
