President Bola Tinubu said he held a productive meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysées Palace in Paris on Wednesday. Both leaders pledged to deepen cooperation between Nigeria and France.
In a post on his official X handle, Tinubu disclosed that the discussions with Macron focused on reviewing key areas of collaboration and charting fresh paths for stronger bilateral relations.
“Had a productive lunch with President Emmanuel Macron @EmmanuelMacron today at the Élysée Palace,” the Nigerian leader wrote. “We reviewed key areas of cooperation between Nigeria and France and agreed to deepen our partnership for mutual prosperity and global stability.”
Recall that President Tinubu is currently in France for a 10-day working vacation.
