Yaroe Releases Fertiliser To Constituents

Senator Binos Yaroe has distributed over 1,000 bags of fertiliser to rural farmers in Adamawa South Senatorial District as part of efforts towards enhancing farming activities in the area.

The exercise which took place  in Mayo-Belwa local government saw farmers went home with NPK and UREA fertiliser hoping for bumper harvest at the end of the cropping season.

No fewer than 10 bags of fertiliser was allocated to first-class chiefs in the Adamawa Southern senatorial district as a sign of recognition and appreciation to the royal fathers for their efforts in the promotion of peaceful coexistence in their respective domains.

Addressing the beneficiaries  Binos  Yaroe said that he is committed and determined to uplift the livelihoods of his constituents, as well as ensuring farmers have a sense of belonging in his programmes.

On her part, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alkaf Global Investment Resources Limited, Madam Bilkisu Ibrahim, disclosed that 1,100 bags of fertiliser have been distributed, with eight LGAs getting 120 bags of fertiliser each while Mayo-Belwa LGA got 140 bags of fertiliser, making the total of 1,100 in whole.
