A frontline Tinubu support group, Renewed Hope Ambassadors, has intensified efforts to persuade Nigerians to re-elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
The group said it wants Nigerians to double their support for Tinubu for another term because of the visionary and strategic leadership of the President since he came into office over two years ago.
Its public relations officer, Ambassador Samuel Ojli Michael, made the call at the weekend when he addressed a crowd during a courtesy visit to the District Head of Galadimawa community in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), His Royal Highness (HRH), Musa Barde, in his palace.
Michael told the crowd that Tinubu needs their maximum support because of the massive transformation the country had witnessed under his tenure.
The group, which has become a regular fixture in the news recently, is known for its dogged campaigns in the grassroots to ensure that President Tinubu returns to Aso Rock in 2027 to continue the good work he’s doing.
He said, “As a respected traditional ruler, we have chosen to commence our outreach and mobilisation in your community and we are glad you’ve welcomed us with open arms.
For millions of well-meaning Nigerians, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is the best thing that has happened to us as a country. The economic recovery, massive industrialisation and infrastructural development witnessed in under three years, especially in the FCT, are uncommon.
“We have no choice but to mobilise support for President Tinubu, especially now that a group of failed politicians are regrouping to throw our country again into the pit of political stagnation and retrogression,” he said.
Michael said they were in the palace to enlist the traditional ruler’s support and that of his subjects to make the next contest a smooth sail for Tinubu.
In his response, the district head appreciated the Ambassadors’ honouring him with their visit and promised to contribute to the group’s success.
He said, “You’ve gladdened my heart with your visit and clear message. Let me emphasise that we are solidly together on this project, and my kingdom will support the Renewed Hope in 2027.
“We want progress; we cannot jump ship when the current administration is developing our communities, opening up rural areas, and ensuring quality of life for all citizens. Be assured of our support for your initiative and Mr. President always,” Barde stated.
The event was attended by members of the Council of Chiefs, community leaders, youth and women groups and other stakeholders.
