Panic As 2-storey Building Collapses In Lagos

Panic erupted on Thursday morning after a two-storey building collapsed in the Mangoro area of Lagos State.

As of press time, it was unclear how many people might be trapped under the rubble. However, emergency responders have already mobilised to the scene and commenced rescue operations.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service are currently leading the rescue efforts.

Authorities were yet to release an official statement on the cause of the collapse or the possible number of casualties.

Sympathisers have since gathered at the site, anxiously awaiting updates as the rescue operation intensified.
