The special adviser on Culture and Tourism to Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Nkereuwem Onung, has lauded the administration’s commitment to tourism development as the state began moves to diversify to other non-oil exports.

Consequently, he has extended warm felicitation to governor for his development strides in all sectors of the State’s economy, especially the tourism, hotels and hospitality sectors.

Commending the governor’s vision for the State’s tourism development and his commitment to preserving Akwa Ibom’s rich cultural heritage, the tourism development expert assured of the governor’s effective repositioning of the sector for investors, visitors, and tourists.

“Warmest congratulations to the people of Akwa Ibom State on our 38th anniversary!. May this milestone celebration mark a new chapter of growth, prosperity, and peace in our great state”, he prayed.

The immediate past president of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) solicited continuous blessings and prosperity for the state and the people.

“As the Honourary Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism, I wish to extend my heartfelt goodwill message to the governor and the good people of Akwa Ibom.
