Atiku, Allies Visit New Olubadan Ladoja

Former vice president and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 elections, Atiku Abubakar, on Tuesday, visited the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, Arusa I, at his Bodija residence in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Atiku, who was accompanied on the visit by the former governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai; former Senate President, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu; former governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke; former Police Affairs Minister, Adamu Maina Waziri, and former presidential liaison officer at the National Assembly, Kashim Imam, was warmly received by the Olubadan.

In a viral video, Oba Ladoja was seen embracing Atiku on arrival at his home as they exchanged pleasantries.

Atiku, in his speech, apologised for his inability to attend the formal coronation ceremony fo the Ibadan monarch, which held last week Friday.

“Kindly forgive our inability to attend your coronation ceremony as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday,” Atiku pleaded.
