“This is one of the outcomes of a comprehensive process of deliberate planning, developing, and maintaining the essential systems that the state’s economy can rely on, in addition to infrastructure like roads, power and water.

“It is also a testament to the visionary leadership and relentless commitment of Governor Oyebanji, whose practical, problem-solving and value-based approach to governance continues to translate dreams into tangible realities”.

The Chief of Staff disclosed a weeklong series of activities lined up to mark the anniversary, themed “Consolidating Impactful Governance.” The chief of staff said the activities reflect the governor’s commitment to continuity, accountability, and bold development strides across all sectors of the economy.

Highlighting the governor’s achievements over the last three years, Adebayo stressed that governance is under the six pillars of the present administration.

While stating that Oyebanji has recorded transformative achievements, he said that through the administration’s six-point agenda, much of the work done would be showcased throughout the anniversary period of celebration.

These include “Constructing and rehabilitating critical road infrastructure connecting towns and villages, and enhancing access to farms, markets, schools, and healthcare—revamped public health facilities across the state for improved healthcare delivery, including several fully equipped general hospitals.

“Five completely revamped and equipped general hospitals will be commissioned during the anniversary events. Significant investments in education, public service reforms, and innovation-driven youth empowerment. Strengthening our agricultural value chain, constructing rural access roads, and enhancing food security.

“Strategic investments in power, security, and technology, including the commissioning of electrification projects in rural communities and improvement of the security architecture, and the advancement of social investment programmes targeting pensioners, the elderly, and vulnerable households”.

He highlighted some of the anniversary activities, such as the flag-off and commissioning of many projects across the state, such as roads, hospitals, public health centres, dormitories, and electrification projects. The governor also delivered a state-of-the-state address before the House of Assembly and unveiled initiatives that will take Ekiti to greater heights in the coming years.

Earlier,  the Special Adviser to the Governor on Information,  Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun assured that the Oyebanji administration would continue to work for the development of the state and called on all to continue to support his administration.
