Edo State governor, Monday Okpebholo, has reassured the people of Esan Central local government area of his administration’s commitment to infrastructure and human capital development in Edo Central senatorial district in particular, and the state in general.
The key projects the government is undertaking include the new Edo State College of Nursing and Health Sciences Technology, located at Udomi, as well as the construction of the Uromi–Onewa–Udomi–Ibhiolulu–Afuda–Idumoza–Eko–Owaya–Ewora Road, a major interconnecting route designed to enhance transportation and boost economic activities across the region.
During the visit, Governor Okpebholo expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work done so far.
He lauded the efforts of Mutual Commitment Co. Ltd and Setraco Nigeria Limited, the construction firms handling the projects, for maintaining high standards and adhering to agreed timelines.
The governor, accompanied by top government officials and aides, was taken on a tour of the various project sites by the project engineers, who briefed him on the progress made and the phases yet to be completed.
Expressing satisfaction during the inspection, Governor Okpebholo noted that the projects were in line with his administration’s agenda to improve healthcare, education, and infrastructure across the state.
He said: “We are determined to deliver quality projects that will directly impact the lives of our people. I am impressed with what I have seen here today.”
He further assured residents of Esan Central that his administration would continue to monitor ongoing projects to ensure timely completion and durability.
