Popular Nigerian comedian and on-air personality, Real Warri Pikin (Anita Alaire Afoke Asuoha) has been unveiled as a brand ambassador for Purna Gummies Nigeria.
The announcement was made during the signing and brand unveiling held in Abuja, marking a milestone for the brand as it partners with a celebrated figure known for her authenticity and advocacy for wellness.
“This is a new chapter for Purna Gummies,” the company said, unveiling Real Warri Pikin as the face of their growing health and wellness brand.
In her remarks, Real Warri Pikin emphasized the importance of the partnership, noting that it highlights Purna’s credibility, especially as the first NAFDAC-approved gummy supplement in Nigeria.
“Purna Gummies are tested, certified, and trusted by NAFDAC globally. Every gummy you take is safe, effective, and authentic,” she said.
“This brand is on a mission to make wellness simple, enjoyable, and reliable, transforming how people take their daily vitamins through delicious, science-backed gummies.”
The comedian explained that one of the reasons she aligned with the brand is her personal commitment to health and convenience, especially as a woman navigating pregnancy and motherhood.
“I’m all about wellness and convenience. We all know how difficult it can be to take pills especially once you hit 30 and above, and vitamins become a necessity. This is why this partnership is so important to me,” she said.
Addressing Nigerian women, especially expectant and nursing mothers, she urged them to prioritize proper prenatal and postnatal care:
“Mama Bear Gummies is the first ever NAFDAC-approved gummy for pregnant and lactating women in Nigeria. It’s important to take your prenatal and postnatal supplements. These babies didn’t ask to be here, and we have to take care of ourselves and them.”
She expressed joy that women now have more access to information, thanks to technology and social media, but added that more still needs to be done:
“Not every woman can afford prenatal care. Some even give birth at home due to lack of resources. That’s why I feel initiatives like this—especially if adopted by states—can make a huge difference.”
Chairman and Co-Founder of Purna Nigeria Limited, Dr. Everest Okpara, praised Real Warri Pikin’s endorsement, describing her as:
“A remarkable woman, a woman of substance, and someone who naturally connects with audiences every time she steps on stage.”
“We see you, Real Warri Pikin, as the perfect representative for Mama BF. Your pregnancy journey reflects exactly what the product stands for,” he said. “We waited for this moment for your third trimester to honor this endorsement. We are proud to have you on board.”
He further stated that the company’s core mission is to vitaminize Nigerians by making supplementation safe, effective, and accessible.
“Many people struggle to take multivitamin pills with water. That’s why we developed dissolvable gummies—you no longer need water. And we’re expanding. More variants are coming soon.”
Dr. Okpara concluded by expressing optimism about the long-term partnership: “We are excited to have Real Warri Pikin represent us—not just now, but for the future. This is a brand committed to wellness, and we know she will carry that message far and wide.”
