The deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Okezie Kalu, Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs, Commissioner of Education in Edo State, Dr Emmanuel Paddy Iyawu and Kabiru Ishaq Sa’id are among influential personalities to be conferred with awards of recognition at the 2025 edition of the annual Peace Achievers International Conference and Awards, organised by Peace Ambassador Agency and Davdan Peace and Advocacy Foundation.
Categories of the Peace Icon Award include, Brand Company of the Year, Most Influential Personality of the Year, Peace Advocate of the Year, Peace Builders, Emerging Leaders, Community Developers and Humanitarians of the year.
This is in recognition of their roles in advancing philanthropic and humanitarian interventions in the country.
The award with the theme, “Peace Building Through Sectoral Partnerships: Public and Private Sector Collaboration, the Peace Achievers International Conference and Awards,” will hold in Abuja.
The 15th edition of the award features the conferment of the Honorary Award from American Management University California USA and Peace Icon Award.
The Project Director Africa, Peace Ambassador Agency, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe said this event which coincides with the 15th anniversary of the Peace Achievers International Conference and Awards and is an opportunity to celebrate a decade and half of promoting peace, advocacy for change in Nigeria and consistent support for national development and investment opportunities in Nigeria and Africa.
He said this year’s edition will feature music, comedy, fashion exhibition, and lots of interesting side attractions.
