Madam Uchenna Kate said she was kidnapped by 12 fulani herdsmen alongside her driver Azubuike Okafor on the 10th of May. She narrated how they had to trek inside the forest for hours under torture where they stayed for seven days before they were released.

Madam Kate said it was the worse experience of her life and a very traumatising one for her.

“I felt very bad about the insecurity situation in the country. It has really affected me and as I try to kill the memories, it only brings it back with severe pains and daily psychological torture for me and members of my family and other closed ones. If not for the ransome we paid that saved us, nobody knows what would have become our date as I speak now” the visibly shaken lady told our correspondent.

She also said her car with registration number and description follows fro the RIVERS STATE VEHICLE LICENSE office has been missing since then.
