A Port Harcourt based lady Madam Uchenna Kate has revealed how she suffered in the hands of kidnappers who kidnapped she and her driver along the notorious Enugu Port Harcourt road.
Recall that the road is now a major kidnap route where people are kidnapped on daily basis.
Madam Uchenna Kate said she was kidnapped by 12 fulani herdsmen alongside her driver Azubuike Okafor on the 10th of May. She narrated how they had to trek inside the forest for hours under torture where they stayed for seven days before they were released.

“I felt very bad about the insecurity situation in the country. It has really affected me and as I try to kill the memories, it only brings it back with severe pains and daily psychological torture for me and members of my family and other closed ones. If not for the ransome we paid that saved us, nobody knows what would have become our date as I speak now” the visibly shaken lady told our correspondent.
