The foremost international group, EuroKnowledge, has conferred a global recognition award on President Bola Tinubu at the prestigious House of Lords, Palace of Westminster, London.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mr Mohammed Idris, who was physically present at the epoch-making event in London on Saturday, received the award on behalf of President Tinubu.

In a statement made available to journalists on Monday by EuroKnowledge’s Vice President, Kate Sovdagari, the organisers further disclosed that Tinubu was conferred the award of “Distinguished EuroKnowledge Leadership ” during the EuroKnowledge Leadership Forum and Award Reception in London.

Idris, who received the international award on behalf of the President, said the award recognises Tinubu’s transformational leadership, bold reforms, and commitment to repositioning Nigeria as a global investment destination, reinforcing Nigeria’s international standing and the pride of its citizens.

He said, “President Tinubu’s vision of building a $1 trillion economy is on course. He is committed to bridging the infrastructure gap, promoting food security, improving the living conditions of the masses and bequeathing a prosperous nation to future generations.”

“Today, Nigeria is a vast construction site, with over N2.5 trillion worth of road infrastructure projects approved this year alone, the highest ever in Nigeria’s history.

“The government is linking cities through signature projects, such as the Lagos-Calabar and Badagry to Sokoto superhighways, and in all parts of the country.”
