2027: Ondo Stands With Tinubu – Aiyedatiwa

The Ondo State governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on Friday declared the support of the state to the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Aiyedatiwa also described members of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) in the state as “movers and shakers” of the state’s politics upon whose shoulders he stands in the governance of the state.

Speaking at his formal investiture as the Grand Patron of the group during its inauguration in Akure, Aiyedatiwa disclosed that the composition of the TSG state has made the task of promoting the achievements of the Tinubu administration and preparing for his re-election campaign much easier.

The governor said, “With the calibre of people in this group, the job of projecting the achievements of the Tinubu government and campaigning for his re-election when the time comes has become easier.

“I stand firmly with the goals of the TSG, which align with ensuring the continuity of the Tinubu administration.” the governor said

The Director General of the TSG Ondo State Chapter, Prince Ademola Adegoroye in his opening remarks asked all residents and groups in the state tate to work together to support the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu having benefitted in an unprecedented manner from the projects of the Tinubu-led government in just two years in the saddle.

Adegoroye who was at a time the Federal Minister of State for Transportation said the event is to “domesticate a national effort that led to the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president of the republic over two years ago.”

According to Adegoroye, the TSG “movement is taking off to work assiduously towards positively profiling the President, our party the APC and our achievements at all levels and to testify that our president is eminently qualified to be reelected massively for a deserved second term.”

He added that the group in Ondo State has “received and worked under the leadership and support of the governor of our dear State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, in the events preceding the presentation of the TSG to the people of Ondo State as a platform to promote the unity, cohesion and lofty ideas of our party and our government under the Presidency of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
