In his address, Akanji charged the 1,114 graduating students of the institution to spy fortune and go after them as they navigate the sea of life.

Akanji, who gave the charge in his words of  admonition to the graduands at the 20th convocation of the institution in Iwo,  enjoined them to ‘Spy’ the Bible diligently, where he said lies the key to their success.

He noted that though the land is full of treasure, only those who can spy  out the land, detect the treasure therein and go after them will prosper. His words: “Spy the land, raise a spying spirit, search it, it is full of goodies, possess the treasures therein and guide it jealousy”

Also speaking, the chancellor, Rev. Yusuf Gwadah charged the management of the institution on the need for deeper innovation, stronger partnership and continued commitment to raising leaders who combine intellect with integrity and faith with fortitude.

Gwadah admonished the graduating students to allow the values that shaped them and those instilled in them on the citadel of knowledge to remain their compass in every decision and seasons of life.
