Adamawa Government Hosts SIDPIN Project Team

The Adamawa State Government, through the Ministry for Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Reintegration and Humanitarian Services (MRRR), has hosted the Sustainable Urban Integration for Displaced Populations in Urban Nigeria (SIDPIN) project team on a courtesy visit to the Commissioner’s office.
Commissioner Hon. Bello Hamman Diram welcomed the delegation and commended their commitment to supporting displaced persons in the state.

He reaffirmed the government’s readiness to partner with SIDPIN, noting that its objectives align with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s vision for durable and sustainable reintegration of displaced citizens.

The SIDPIN project, which covers Adamawa, Kano, Benue, and Yobe States, focuses on providing shelter and promoting reintegration in communities such as Malkohi.

After the meeting, the team, alongside Ministry officials, visited the Malkohi Durable Solutions site and proposed shelter project location to assess progress and identify further needs.
