Senator Wamakko Empowers Sokoto Residents With Electric Motorcycles

Senator Aliyu Wamakko, representing Sokoto Central Senatorial Zone has distributed 100 electric-powered scooters to residents of Sokoto State.

This initiative is part of a series of empowerment programmes aimed at enhancing the lives of the community and promoting sustainable transportation solutions.

Senator Wamakko’s initiatives are a testament to his commitment to bridging gaps in access to resources and empowering the youth and other vulnerable groups in the state.

The permanent secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Almustapha Abubakar Alkali, who spoke on behalf of the senator, emphasized the meticulous approach taken to ensure that the motorcycles were distributed fairly and reached the intended beneficiaries.

“As directed by Senator Wamakko, the machines were distributed accordingly, reflecting his dedication to improving the livelihoods of the people in Sokoto state.

“Senator Wamakko’s distribution of electric motorcycles represents a forward-thinking approach to addressing transportation needs while also contributing to environmental sustainability in Nigeria,” he said.

This latest initiative adds to a growing list of contributions by Senator Wamakko to enhance the socio-economic prospects of his constituents.

During the distribution ceremony, many beneficiaries shared their gratitude and the positive impact this gesture would have on their daily lives.
