Waterlight Save Initiative Launches Blueprint For Inclusive Development

The WaterLight Save Initiative (WSI) has launched the IHEAL Blueprint, a transformative framework designed to address social inequalities through inclusive, sustainable development practices.

It was held on the margins of the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha, Qatar. The high-level event convened global leaders, diaspora investors, and grassroots advocates to explore practical paths for implementation.

During the unveiling and official launch, a short documentary introduced the IHEAL Blueprint’s eight pillars, emphasising access to clean water, healthcare, education, and livelihoods.

Showcased WSI’s impact across the world and the urgent need for the implementation of the IHEAL Blueprint. Following this, reflections were given by Dr Prince Ero Ibhafidon (Founder/CEO of WSI), Her Excellency Professor Olufolake Abdulrazaq, Hon. Shina Peller, Madam Oghogho Musa, Ms Nesrin Comert, and Mr Ajay Wasserman, who called for blended financing, community-led storytelling, and cross-sector collaboration.

Similarly, the event featured an expert panel facilitated by Mrs Maria A. Dada. The panel featured Mr Shadeed Abdul-Salaam, Ms Zarin H. Fadaei Obe, Mr John Erwich, and Honourable (Dr.) hina Abiola Peller, whose expertise spanned sustainable development, advocacy, finance, and media.

However, discussions were aimed at forging a path that would enable the IHEAL Blueprint to transition from vision to action.

The event concluded with a call-to-action by Chantel Francois, urging governments, media, and international organisations to support the IHEAL Blueprint in meeting the SDGs and healing communities worldwide through social equity.
