Failure To Tackle Insecurity Makes Ousting Ruling Party Easy – Senator Gamawa

African Democratic Congress (ADC) has said the failure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to tackle the security crisis and economic hardship has provided a leeway for the ruling party’s defeat in the 2027 presidential election.

The deputy national chairman of the ADC, Senator Suleiman Nazeef Gamawa, who stated this yesterday, said the coalition party would assemble a competent presidential candidate who can easily defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election in the country.

Gamawa, in an interview with journalists in Bauchi, stressed that the inability of the current APC-led federal government to address economic hardship, insecurity and other social problems bedevilling Nigerians offered a soft-landing for the ADC to capitalise and use the same to campaign against the party and Tinubu.

“The ADC aims to build a nation where every Nigerian will be proud of, and the ADC is a party of purpose and determination, not impulse.

“Our benchmark for leadership is firm and uncompromising: character, competence, courage, and discipline. These four pillars will inform our decisions, define our culture, and sustain our performance.

“The ADC operates on the belief that Nigeria can and will work for all its citizens, driven by a commitment to build a party that rises above individual interests, endures beyond fleeting moments, and stands apart from any political party in the nation’s history,” he said.

Gamawa, who represented Bauchi North in the Senate and was PDP deputy national chairman, said ADC leaders will position the party for victory in the next general elections in Nigeria.

He urged all eligible voters to obtain their PVCs to enable them to vote during elections, adding that voting at this critical time is both a right and an obligation.
