A global direct-selling firm, QNET, has reaffirmed its commitment to reducing unemployment in Nigeria by empowering young people with income-generating opportunities centred on innovative products and services that promote well-being and sustainable living.

The firm hosted over 8,000 entrepreneurial youths at a two-day product exhibition and training event in Lagos, designed to equip young Nigerians with business tools that support financial independence and improve their quality of life.

Participants at the exhibition described the event as both a business gateway and an educational platform, offering access to marketable products, practical demonstrations and business mentorship to support long-term wealth creation.

Attendance surpassed expectations, with over 5,000 youths filling the venue on the first day, reflecting the growing interest among young Nigerians in alternative income channels, direct selling, and skill-based entrepreneurship.

On his part, QNET Regional Strategy and Marketing Manager Bernie Gaksch conducted detailed demonstrations for each product displayed, ensuring that participants understood the product features, business models, and earning structures associated with QNET’s global network.

Gaksch said the goal of the exhibition was to create greater awareness of QNET’s expanding product line and reinforce the company’s vision of improving lives through technology-driven wellness solutions.

According to him,” the product exhibition also serves to solidify QNET’s position as a product-oriented leader in the Nigerian market. Besides, this exhibition will give attendees a more precise and deeper understanding of QNET’s product portfolio and business operations.”

Among the technologies on display was HomePure Nova, the company’s flagship nine-stage water filtration system designed to safeguard families from water-borne contaminants.

The device filters particles down to 0.2 microns using a silver-infused membrane that eliminates 99.9999 per cent of bacteria and viruses, making it a premium solution for clean, safe drinking water.

Similarly, the HomePure Zayn air purification system, a compact six-stage unit, was showcased for its ability to remove pollutants, odours and airborne viruses with 99.94 per cent efficiency, providing a household-friendly defence against rising environmental toxins and allergens common in urban centres.

The exhibition also unveiled QNET’s newest collections of Swiss-made watches manufactured under the renowned Bernhard H. Mayer and Cimier brands.

Gaksch explained that, although the watchmaking legacy dates back to 1871, the current collections incorporate sustainability principles, including 100 per cent recycled materials in the Omni Collection. Additionally, for every watch sold, QNET sponsors the planting of one tree globally.

Additionally, Gaksch noted that QLearn was introduced in response to the growing number of African youths seeking entrepreneurial opportunities without access to formal business education.

“The platform will enable young people to build real-world capabilities that support financial growth, confidence and lifelong learning,” he said.
