Majeurs Holdings Limited has received the Mandatory Conformity Assessment Programme (MANCAP) Certification from the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON).
The certificate was presented at a ceremony held recently at SON’s Lagos office.
Speaking at the event, SON Director-General Dr Ifeanyi Chukwunonso Okeke, represented by the Director of the Lagos Region, Mrs Theresa Ojomo, commended Majeurs Holdings and other certified companies for meeting the rigorous requirements of the MANCAP process.
“This achievement demonstrates your commitment to producing high-quality products that meet national standards. In recognition of this accomplishment, we hereby formally present you with the MANCAP Certification,” Okeke said.
Chief Executive Officer of Majeurs Holdings, Demi Samande, described the certification as a significant milestone for the company. She said it validates the organisation’s long-standing adherence to strict production processes, material selection and attention to detail.
“The MANCAP certification means we have achieved a milestone we set for ourselves as an organisation. From the very beginning, we have been committed to standardisation. Receiving the certificate today means we are ready for the next stage of our growth,” she said.
Samande added that the certification strengthens customer confidence, assuring buyers that high-quality, locally made furniture is attainable in Nigeria. She said it aligns with the company’s philosophy of delivering exceptional quality, service and innovation.
Headquartered in Lagos, the company exports to markets across Africa, Europe and America.
