Team Integrity has triumphed at the 14th NNPC Ltd. Sports Fiesta, securing the top spot on the medals table and being crowned the overall best team. The week-long event ended on Saturday amidst funfair at the Indoor Sports Hall in Package B of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

Comprising athletes from NNPC’s Port Harcourt and Benin zones, Team Integrity amassed an impressive 31 gold, 18 silver, and 21 bronze medals, alongside nine trophies. Team Sustainability, representing the Abuja and Kaduna zones, finished second with 15 gold, 26 silver, and 23 bronze medals. Team Excellence, from the Lagos and Warri zones, placed third with 13 gold, 16 silver, and 19 bronze medals.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group CEO of NNPC Limited, lauded the athletes’ performances, stating that they were ‘a brilliant reminder that NNPC Ltd can win on the field and in the marketplace through the virtues of resilience, teamwork and excellence.’

He expressed confidence in the team’s ability to defend its title at the upcoming 20th Nigeria Oil & Gas Industry Games (NOGIG) in February 2026.

“Let the discipline you showed throughout these games elevate our performance; let the unity you built here strengthen our teamwork; let the excellence you demonstrated become our daily standard,” he stated.
