The Destination Management Office (DMO) of Akwa Ibom State has announced the inaugural Governor’s Christmas Dinner scheduled for Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Marina, Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort, Uyo.
Designed as a premium, end-of-year engagement, the event will bring together leading figures from the business, investment, and industrial communities for an elegant evening on the pier. Set against the serene waters of the Marina, guests will enjoy fine dining, curated entertainment, and a relaxed Christmas ambience.
The governor’s christmas dinner aims to appreciate organisations already contributing to the State’s economic and tourism growth, welcome new and prospective investors, and provide an opportunity for the governor to share his forward-looking vision for tourism, hospitality, industrial development, job creation, and broader economic expansion.
The gathering is intended to foster meaningful conversations, strengthen partnerships, and create space for future investment opportunities in Akwa Ibom’s evolving economic landscape.
The organisers said attendance is strictly by reservation, with limited capacity available.
