A prophecy by Prophet Muyiwa Akogun, General Overseer of God Center of Ministry in Ekiti State, has gone viral after he accurately predicted an intentional car accident involving popular Nigerian TikTok influencer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller.
The cleric, who spoke in Yoruba language, also warned of a possible second, more serious accident in February next year if something was not done.
On November 23, 2025, while addressing his congregation, Akogun warned that God showed him Peller could face an accident in December if he was not properly guided, counselled, and prayed for.
In a viral video of the sermon now circulating online following the TikToker’s accident on livestream on Sunday, December 14, 2025, the cleric said, “You see that boy called Peller on TikTok, God showed me that if they do not pray and sit the boy down to orient him, you will suddenly hear that he has had an accident.
“And the accident I saw in the vision is an intentional act, something done deliberately. It will be powerful when it happens, and it will happen in December. Write today’s date down: today is the 23rd of November. By December, you will hear the news.”
LEADERSHIP had earlier reported that Peller was involved in a car crash on Sunday, December 14, during a live stream that quickly went viral.
Akogun further predicted that the December incident would not be the only accident Peller would experience, warning of a potentially more serious accident in February, 2026.
“What will happen in December is small compared to what will happen in February. The February accident will be brutal. It will not take his life, but it might might leave him handicapped.
“They need to sit this boy down and talk to him, and they also should pray for him. But when a small child starts making money like an elder, they believe they are also an elder. People like that are always very difficult to talk to,” the prophet said.
The prophet also addressed public reactions to prophetic messages in Nigeria, noting that many people always focus on criticising the messenger rather than heeding the warning.
“You know, in Nigeria, when prophets share prophecies, instead of facing the message, people curse the prophet. But I don’t care. By December, you will hear the news,” he had said.
“Once this video goes viral, people will start calling me different names, and I don’t care. Some will say it’s a lie or that I don’t see good visions for people.
“But when someone sees a bad vision concerning a person, it is for that person to make amends, pray, and take action so the vision does not come to pass. But Nigerians are not like that. Instead of listening and facing the message, they curse the messenger. I don’t care, I am already used to it,” he declared.
The prophecy has reignited public debate about the significance of prophetic warnings, particularly with the forecast of a possible second one, more serious accident, prompting many netizens to urge Peller to be more careful and prayerful.
