Consolidated Hallmark Holdings (CHH) Plc has rewarded outstanding staff from its five subsidiaries in a move to encourage others to increase their commitment to the group.

This is even as Consolidated Hallmark Insurance (CHI) also won the 2025 Highest Return on Equity PEARL Award.

At CHH Afrofusion Party held in Ikeja, Lagos at the weekend, where the group and its staff celebrated culture and heritage, some outstanding staff in different segment of the group’s business were awarded for being professional and exceptional in the outgoing year.

At the event too, a team from PEARL Award came to hand over the award plaque to the managing director/CEO, Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Ltd, Mrs. Mary Adeyanju.

The 2025 PEARL Awards, themed: ‘Celebrating a Legacy of Corporate Excellence,’ highlighted companies that demonstrated exceptional operational performance despite market headwinds

Speaking on the award at the event, Awards Board secretary, Mr. Olalekan Adekoya said, “of all the quoted companies in Nigeria, Consolidated Hallmark demonstrated over 200 per cent returns on equity (ROE) in 2025.

The company is also nominated in two other categories, which shows the impact the company made this year on its investing public.”

He said the PEARL board of assessors was independent and diligent in its work, leveraging factual data already in the public domain to arrive at its conclusion.

He asked those in doubt to obtain the official document of transactions and stock trading for this year from the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) to validate the conclusion of the Award firm.

Responding, the Managing Director/CEO of Consolidated Hallmark Insurance, Mrs Mary Adeyanju, appreciated PEARL for the award, which it did not lobby for but received as a result of an independent assessment of the company’s activities.

She promised that the company would continue to do its best to be the best, as this award was a signal for Consolidated Hallmark Group to continue improving on its own in redefining insurance services in the country.

Earlier, the group CEO of CHH, Mr Eddie Efekoha, had applauded several members of staff from departments and subsidiaries across the group who won awards for distinguishing themselves in their roles during the year.

He urged others to give a good fight in the coming year and to receive outstanding awards. Nothing that the Award programme came to fruition to gear up the spirit of commitment among its staff.

This development and the event, he said, is meant to create unity within the system, while ensuring that people are committed to the tasks required of them, promising that the management would, henceforth, make this an annual event.

He assured that the group and its insurance subsidiaries will scale through the ongoing recapitalisation exercise aimed at sanitising the nation’s insurance industry and made players stronger to operate in lucrative sectors and retain some lucrative risk businesses locally.
