Mbah Seeks Confirmation Of 2 Nominees As Commissioners, Appoints Board Chairs, Others

Enugu State Governor, Dr Peter Mbah, has forwarded two names as nominees to the State House of Assembly for consideration as commissioners and appointed chairpersons of boards, executive secretaries, and senior officials into various positions.

Secretary to the State Government, Professor Chidiebere Onyia, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, named the nominees as Barr. Osinachi Nnajieze and Dr C. O. C. Egumgbe.

Governor Mbah also appointed Kenechukwu Nnamani as the Managing Director of the Enugu State Investment Development Authority (ENSIDA) and James Chukwuemeka Mbah as Executive Secretary of the Enugu State Scholarship and Education Loans Board.

Mbah also named Dr Eric Oluedo as executive secretary of the Local Government Staff Pensions Board and Mrs Sylvia Onwubuemeli as executive secretary of the Enugu State Library Board, among others.

The statement stated that while the names of the commissioner nominees have been forwarded to the Enugu State House of Assembly for confirmation, all other appointments take effect immediately.
