Let’s Celebrate Christmas With Love — Abia First Lady

Wife of Abia State governor, Mrs. Pricillia Otti, has called for the celebration of Christmas in the state with love, hope and charity to the glory of God.

She made the appeal yesterday in the state in Umuahia, the state capital, during a Christmas party for children, saying she was happy to be with them.

The first lady said, “Today, we have gathered to promote inclusivity, spread love, kindness and joy to the little angels of our state.

“I want to say, you are loved, you are valued, and you are the future leaders of our dear state. Your dreams are valid, and your potential is limitless.

“Never let anyone dull your sparkle or dim your light. Keep shining, keep dreaming, and always remember that you are capable of achieving greatness.

“Let’s take a moment to acknowledge the sacrifices of our parents, caregivers, and guardians. Your love, care, and dedication shape the lives of these young ones.”

She thanked her husband, Governor Alex Otti, for his vision for children and commitment to the welfare and development of the people and the state.

In her remarks, the commissioner for poverty alleviation and social protection, Blessing Felix, expressed delight with the occasion and thanked the host.

Similarly, the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Women Affairs, Ogechi Aguama, urged the children to be respectful to older people.

‎‎Responding on behalf of the children, Chibuike Adindu thanked the first lady for the opportunity to celebrate the occasion with her.
