BREAKING: Several Feared Dead As Bomb Blast Rocks Mosque In Borno

Several people were feared dead and many others were injured following a bomb explosion at a mosque in Gamboru Kasuwa, Maiduguri, Borno State capital city on Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred during the Maghrib prayers at the worship centre, eyewitnesses and local residents confirmed.

Details of the bomb attack, including the exact number of casualties, remained unclear at press time as security operatives have cordoned off the area.

Neither the military nor the Police authorities have issued any statement regarding the explosion as at the time of filing this report.
