The Future Pathways Foundation has distributed food items and cash support to households across local government areas of Niger East Senatorial District as part of its Christmas outreach programme.
The yuletide intervention, supported by Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, delivered bags of rice and cash assistance to hundreds of beneficiaries, providing relief to families amid prevailing economic pressures and ensuring a more meaningful festive season.
Beneficiaries said the gesture significantly eased the cost of Christmas and New Year celebrations for their households.
The Foundation also extended the outreach to the remaining eight local government areas—Bosso, Chanchaga, Munya, Gurara, Paikoro, Rafi, Shiroro and Tafa—where over 500 bags of rice and cash donations were distributed to vulnerable families.
Speaking during the exercise, Founder of the Foundation, Hajia Saadatu Sani Musa, said the initiative reflects the organisation’s commitment to humanitarian service and community support, especially during critical periods.
“In life, you do not wait until there is enough for everyone before you act. You begin by ensuring that someone has enough, trusting that compassion, when practiced consistently, will always spread,” she said.
Community leaders and beneficiaries commended the Foundation for the timely intervention, noting that the distribution was orderly, transparent and delivered with dignity.
The Future Pathways Foundation said the Christmas outreach aligns with its broader mission of restoring hope, promoting social welfare and supporting vulnerable populations across Niger State and beyond.
